simply...cheap

Everyone who knows me knows that I have a borderline unhealthy penchant for clothes, acessories, handbags, and shoes. If I only had $20 to my name--which I won't lie, has happened to me more than once--I will buy a cute tee-shirt before I'll feed myself. In this economy, and only bringing in the salary of a public servant, it's been a bit of a struggle, shall we say, to fulfill my desire for fashion while still being able to pay my rent. I've always admired those who could dig through bin after bin at a discount store and uncover a treasure, but the truth is I can be pretty impatient and I like instant gratification.

Sooo, I've been asking around, and doing some internet stalking, and I have completely fallen in love with some of the lines at Kohl's. There isn't one in my town, but the online selection is fabulous. I especially love Vera Wang's line, Simply Vera. I am a big fan of Vera's Lavender Label line, which is a lot pricier, but the line at Kohl's manages to embody the same style and chic, but for a much lower price.

Check out this incredibly stylish little cocoon cardigan number. I love the color and think it would look adorable with a plain white tee, skinny jeans, and black boots or ballet flats.

Another hot gray number--love, love, love the pattern, and I think I could pull this one off under a suit, which yes, I sadly have to wear every. single. day.


The accessories are every bit as great as the clothes--I ordered these two necklaces as soon as I saw them.

Definitely check out some of the other lines at Kohl's too--some very cute and very affordable stuff!
